CCR Blog

For my CCR I filmed a video rather than a PowerPoint. Well, more specifically I filmed a mukbang. I wanted my CCR to be more conversational so even though it mainly centers around me you'll see some clips of Macaria in it too. I hope you guys enjoy and here you go.

Final Task Blog

And we've done it. Here is my final task movie. I hope you enjoy!

We've reached our final production blog

Image
This is a bittersweet moment. we've finally reached the last and final production blog. I'm glad to have finally broken free of the chains of the numerous production blog due dates. This is a day of celebration. Honestly I don't even know what to blog about. I've basically covered everything that concerns the project so far. The only thing left to do is upload the montage scene onto the final product. But I don't even know if i should anymore. So far our production is kind of long, and that's excluding the montage. So right now me and Macaria are trying to decide if we should even include it. I think that later tonight I'm going to send it to her and we'll decide then. WE'RE ALMOST DONE! yaaaaaaay. That's so exciting. Now the only thing I'm really worried about is the final CCR. I forgot that it needed to be done via video this time. That new piece of information really threw me off. But I know ill be able to tackle it. I'm just so relie

Editing once again

Image
Today we're editing once again. Yay -_- so basically me and Macaria are practically done with our project. we've put all the clips together. now the only thing left to do is put the clips together and add music. Overall, its really not that bad but its still kind of stressful. I decided to handle organizing the clips, which I enjoy taking over myself. But I'm afraid it might be stressing her out. She's really good at managing her time and getting projects done ahead of time, and i tend to procrastinate so this is where we're really clashing. So far I have been able to create a montage of the clips we filmed in the park. that's our last major part. basically I arranged them vertically before each clip slides down and portrays fun times between dream and Paulanka. I'm thinking that we should add lighthearted music during those parts to lighten the mood before we drastically reveal the true genre  of the film. But for now I think its best to prioritize the spe

Film review blog

So today I had my chemistry teacher review my film overall she said she liked it. I reached out to her during study hall and had her watch it. It want fully edited yet so obviously i didn't have my expectations to high. I was shocked to find out that she actually really liked our movie and the plot as well. She didn't have many critics besides the obvious but one thing she did recommend was changing the placement of the mirror clip. she agreed with me that it didn't really fit and she even advised cutting it out of the movie. but i really liked it so we compromised. the initial placement of the clip was at the end just before the film ended. But Ms. Ruwe recommended putting it in between the over the shoulder scene with dream drawing x's on paulanka's face and the scene with the tilt shot showing dreams room/work space. she said it would help convey the scene as a montage so that the audience would not be too hung up on the fact that the end is not as chronological

We began editing

Image
YAAAYYY! finally we're done filming and begun editing. After we filmed me and mac looked back over all the clips and scenes we had. we ended up having a lot of drafts from the different clips so first things first we had to look over the footage and decide which clips to keep and which ones to toss. The meet up scene we filmed all in one clip we ended up tossing and just kept the one that used the different clips for the scenes. It ended up looking better than way too. After we selected the video clips we were going to use we put them all into Imovie and arranged them in chronological order. The movie looked really good already but it was kind of long. We haven't figured out how to shorten the movie just yet but we're still working on it. we began putting words and titles and we added the transitions so that we can differentiate the flashback scenes and the meet up scenes. The hardest scene to incorporate into the movie by far would have to  be the scene with dream in the

Filming AGAIN!

Image
We're at it again!. today we filmed once more. except unlike last time we actually went to Mac's house. Mac told me and the actors that she has two bedrooms we could use to film the different scenes and certain shots. Once we reached Mac's house we went straight to her guest bedroom and began filming backwards. rather than filming the scenes chronologically like how they were listed in the story board and script. We worked backwards filming the scenes that had high priority. Dream wasn't able to stay long unlike me and Paulanka because her mom had a limited schedule and had to pick her up at 5. school had let out around 3 which barely gave us 2 hours to film. we had to make the most of our time especially since the deadline was fast approaching. we began filming the scene where dream walks into her house and goes to her bedroom. This was actually one of the last scenes but it was the only one that featured just dream alone. The scene portrayed her walking up to her bed
